JOB TITLE: Transportation Assistant

REPORTS TO: Director of Transportation

DEPARTMENT/SCHOOL: Transportation

WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Non-Exempt

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Assist with daily operation of the transportation department, perform a variety of duties assigned
by the Director of Transportation, and provide clerical services to Director of Transportation.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; Current CDL Licensure with S and P Endorsement; Proficient keyboarding, data entry, word process and filing skills; Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles; Ability to use software to develop and maintain spreadsheets,
databases and do word processing; Ability to multi-task numerous complex administrative activities; Ability to work well with staff; Ability to communicate effectively.
