JOB TITLE: Campus Principal - Elementary School

 

REPORTS TO: Superintendent

DEPARTMENT/SCHOOL: Elementary School 

WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Exempt

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Direct and manage the instructional program and supervise operations at the campus level.
He/she will provide instructional leadership to ensure high standards of instructional delivery. He/she directs the
implementation of District policies and instructional programs and manages the operation of all campus activities.  This position will start with the 26-27 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Master's Degree in Educational Administration from an Accredited College/University
• Mid-management/Appropriate Teacher Certification
• Certified Appraiser in the Texas Teacher Appraisal System (T-TESS)
• Minimum Experience:  Prior Administrative and Instructional Leadership Experience
• Prior Elementary Principal Experience, Preferred  
• Ability to lead the campus level programs and direct the improvement strategies necessary for improved student access
• Experience with Bluebonnet preferred - knowledge of curriculum and requirements for grades PK-6
